Sustainable Insect Protein
Insects might not be the first animal your think of when someone says protein, but they are a sustainable alternative to the meats traditionally used in dog food recipes. Producing a kg of protein from insects requires 2000 times less water, 235m2 of land and 12 times less feed than producing the same amount from beef. What’s more, it releases 100 times less greenhouse gas making the entire process more sustainable.
