About Us
At Bug Bakes, we believe in delivering premium dog food to as many pups as possible whilst looking after the world around us. We set out to reduce our dogs’ carbon pawprints, and by using novel insect protein, we have created dog foods with as many nutrients as traditional kibble whilst also being hypoallergenic, easier to digest and better for the planet. We have brought that goodness to hundreds of dogs across the country.
As part of our mission, we commit to sustainable practices. To produce 1kg of protein, using insects requires 2,000 times less water, 16 times less land and 12 times less food and releases over 100 times fewer greenhouse gasses than beef. Plus, our recipe features wonky produce from British farms that supermarkets refuse, meaning that every bag of dog food you buy reduces food waste and carbon emissions.
